| Senator Hart to Host Annual St. Patrick's Day Breakfast |
Senator Jack Hart will host the annual St. Patrick’s Day breakfast at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center on March 14, 2009. A long standing Boston tradition, the breakfast traditionally features the Governor of Massachusetts, the Mayor of Boston, the Commonwealth’s Washington delegation, and various state and local dignitaries. In addition, the event attracts special guests who participate in the festivities. Recent guests include, Vice President Joe Biden, the Dropkick Murphy’s, international sensation Celtic Thunder, Tenor Emmanuelle Lawlor and others.
“This year’s breakfast will hopefully be a good one considering all that is going on in politics,” commented Senator Hart.
Broadcasting on NECN will begin promptly at 9:30am on channels 6 and 810 in high definition. The St. Patrick’s Day breakfast will reach more than 4 million households in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont as well as Finneran’s Forum WKRO 680AM.
