Forum on Drug Emergencies

Do you want to know how to react to a drug emergency?  If you suspect someone may have overdosed, what do you do and whom do you call to help the unfortunate victim?

The answers to these questions will be provided at an upcoming South Boston Community Forum at the Tynan School this coming Wednesday, July 6, from 6:30 to 8 p.m.  The Forum is open to the public; light refreshments will be served; please make it a point to be there.  Nowadays, we all need to know this information.

Andy Ward of the South Boston Collaborative Center will emcee this event.  Four speakers from the Health Commission, EMT teams, and the Prevention Alliance will talk briefly and then form a panel to field questions from the audience.  On-site actions and calls to make will be laid out in detail.  Printed information to take home with you will be on hand.

This very important Forum is being hosted by the Hope & Recovery Committee, which has held seven highly successful Community Forums since the spring of 2004.  Local sponsors of these events include the Community Health Center and the Neighborhood House.

Mark the date – Wednesday, July 6, 6:30 p.m at the Tynan School.  See you there.
