The HOPELINE allows teenagers to register with the City of Boston for summer jobs. Last year, more that 5,000 young people called the HOPELINE. If you are the right age, you are encouraged to register for paying jobs in summer camps, community centers, and cultural organizations.
To qualify, you must live in Boston. You must be at least 15 years old on or before July 9, 2006. Also, you cannot turn age 18 on or before August 18, 2006.
Next week, call the HOPELINE by telephone at 617-635-HOPE (4673) during the following times:
Tuesday, February 21: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Wednesday, February 22: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Thursday, February 23: 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The website will be open for registration from 10 a.m., Tuesday, February 21, until 11:59 p.m. Thursday, February 23.
