     Last month there was an incident reported that needs to be clarified. On December 16, 2005 officers from district six drug unit followed a drug suspect to the area of Two-Four Glover Court. The suspect was arrested outside that location, not on the property. The house in question is not a location being investigated for drug activity nor has any been reported to the drug unit.

     February 1, 2006

     About 6:40 p.m. officers from district six drug unit were in the area of Dorchester Avenue and Dexter Street conducting a drug investigation. One male suspect will be appearing in South Boston District Court. Officers recovered six plastic bags containing a rock like substance believed to be crack cocaine.

     February 2, 2006

     About 12:40 a.m. officers responded to East Fourth Street and ‘H’ Street for a report of a male suspect shooting drugs in a parked motor vehicle. Officers found a male sitting in a motor vehicle who stated he was homeless and was going to sleep in the vehicle. Officers checked his name and found suspect had a warrant for his arrest. Officers removed the suspect from the vehicle and observed a package containing a white powder believed to be heroin. Officers also recovered a hypodermic needle used when shooting heroin. Suspect transported to district six for booking.


     February 3, 2006

     About 1:55 p.m. officers responded to 2 Mt. Vernon Street for a B&E report. Victim reports unknown persons entered his apartment and stole his Dell lap top computer. No signs of forced entry.

     About 9:10 p.m. officers responded to 120 ‘I’ Street for a B&E in progress. Victim reports as he approached his home, he observed to male suspects inside his apartment. Suspects then fled out through a side window towards East Fifth Street. A search of the area was made, no suspects found.

     February 4, 2006

     In the area of 122 ‘D’ Street six victims reported between the hours of 3:00 a.m. and 4:00 a.m. they had their vehicle windows broken.

     About 9:00 a.m. officers responded to 221 West Fifth Street for a B&E report. Victim reports unknown persons stole his Sylvania 42” plasma television. No sign of forced entry.
