The South Boston Crime Watch will officially open its doors this Saturday, March 11th at 10:00AM. Thanks to the generosity of Ed Champy and Kiernan McAllen of Way Point development the crime watch will be housed in one of the premier locations in South Boston at 492 East Broadway which is located at the intersection of Dorchester Street and Broadway. The office, most recently housed the Jimmy Kelly Headquarters and all of the long time South Boston residents will remember it as the home of the Bay View Pub. The Grand Opening will be from 10 A.M. – Noon and volunteers are welcome to drop by or come in and sign up to be part of the ever growing crime watch brigade.

“We are looking for all kinds of people, Rep Brian Wallace stated. “We need people to answer phones, people who have computer and web sire expertise, people who are willing to organize their street or their block, people to help organize forums, people who can help us organize small socials, people with cars, etc. The list is endless and if we are going to do this right we will need a ton of community support, “Rep Wallace stated.
