| South Boston Summer 2006 Collaborative Programs |
The South Boston Summer Collaborative (SBSC), a collaboration of the Condon and Tynan Community Centers, South Boston Boys and Girls Club, and South Boston Neighborhood House, is planning its 2006 summer programming. All program operations will be contingent on funding and enrollment. At the present time, SBSC will begin onMonday, July 10, and finish on Friday, August 25. Upcoming funding initiatives will be planned, and the communitys support is vital to sustain the current level of programming.
This summer, due to the dwindling enrollment numbers and high cost of a daily off-site bus program there will be no Day Camp Bus component as part of SBSC.
A new on-site program for 7-13 year olds at Old Colony Teen Center, the Old Colony Academic Enrichment Program, will begin this summer.
