The Edward M. Sullivan Scholarship is an annual scholarship created by his family to support a Gate of Heaven 8th grader’s tuition towards high school.  Named after the late Edward M. Sullivan, a lifelong community resident, graduate of Gate of Heaven School, and Vietnam Veteran, this scholarship will help to fund a Gate of Heaven graduate through his or her four years of high school.

     Money to support this scholarship will be raised annually at the South Boston Neighborhood House’s Annual Harbor Cruise.  This year’s Harbor Cruise will take place on Wednesday, August 16 on the Provincetown II.

     This year’s recipient of the Edward M. Sullivan Scholarship, Brendan Glynn of Knowlton Street, will be attending Savio Preparatory High School in the fall.  Brendan will be officially recognized at the Gate of Heaven Graduation and the Ollie Road Race Classic Awards Ceremony on September 9.
