This free event is designed and coordinated by teens for teens with the assistance of a great team of youth service providers. Youth speakers, youth entertainers, skits and over 100 resource tables will highlight all the positive activities that Boston youth can participate in especially as they start back for a new school year.
Register today at bostonyouthzone.com/myc or call 617-635-2240.
It takes a lot of people to make the Summit a success. Teen dance, vocal, magic, spoken word (etc.) performers are needed as are youth speakers, presenters and others. Youth performers should contact Claudette Bailey at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at 617-961-3006. Youth presenters should e-mail email@example.com with an outline of a 3-5 minute presentation.
One of the highlights of the Summit are the Teen Positive Image Awards recognizing five Boston teens for making a difference in their community. Completed nominations must be received by August 24th. Go online at cityofboston.gov/myc to get an application or for more information.
