South Boston Lacrosse 2006 Spring season registrations are going to be held on Thurs., January 12, and Fri. January 13, from 6p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Columbia Yacht Club, with the final registration being held at The Murphy Rink on Saturday January 14 from 11 a.m. to 1p.m.

     If your son or daughter is interested in playing lacrosse a completed registration form and a $25 deposit are required to secure a spot. Each team has a maximum of 20 players per team. After each team is filled, players will be placed on a waiting list. There are no tryouts and no cuts, only a desire to learn how to play is needed.

     This year the MBYL, our governing body, are organizing teams by grades. We will be offering 4 boys & 4 girls’ teams. Boys & girls teams will be broken down as follows:

     1st & 2nd Grades
     3rd & 4th Grades
     5th & 6th Grades
     7th & 8th Grades

     The league will no longer be going by age. Anyone who attends high school will have to play for the high school they attend. If the high school does not have lacrosse, you’ll need to find a club team like Metro Lacrosse. For more information call Bob at 617-268-9503.
