Justin Espinal is a reserved, polite young boy who is enjoying life and being a member of the South Boston Boys & Girls Club.

Justin, 9, is the son of Solania and Aarron Espinal. He’s in the third grade at the William E. Russell Elementary School in Dorchester. His favorite subject is history and some day he plans on being a building contractor so he can build big, beautiful buildings and homes.

Justin’s favorite color is orange and his favorite food is rice and chicken. In his leisure time, he enjoys playing with his iPad and toys at home and watching TV. His favorite TV show is Liv and Maddie. This teen sitcom is about identical twin sisters with entirely different personalities. And, his favorite books are the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series written by Jeff Kinney.

At the club, Justin loves going to the education room, art room, computer room, and being helped with his homework by club staff. He really likes the staff.

“They’re always nice to me and the other kids,” he said. “They help us understand our school work and if we have any other problems they help out by listening to us.”

Justin is looking forward to the summer. He plans on going to the beach and swimming. He can’t wait for his family trip to Canobie Lake Park or Whales Tale Water Park. He loves going to New Hampshire and he enjoys riding his razor scooter and bike.

If he were the president of the United States, he said he would, “give people money and a place to live (and) make food less expensive. Give away water for free…and have teleporters so that people can go from one place to another place in a couple of minutes.”
