On Thursday, March 10, the Boston Center for Youth and Families sponsored a luncheon for seniors at the Condon Community Center. BCYF staff at the Condon organized the event and happily served those seniors in attendance.
Boston City Councilor Billy Linehan came by and sang a couple of Irish songs. Boston at-large councilors Anissa Essaibi George and Mike Flaherty came by to wish the seniors a happy St. Patrick’s Day. Councilor Flaherty asked the group why they were being served Italian food at an Irish event. I guess they really didn’t care because the food was so tasty. Local resident John Healey also sang an Irish ditty and everyone had a great time.
