On Sunday, Feb. 14, Team Southie held its Dog Bowl at the South Boston Bowlarama on East Broadway to raise money for their “Pawsitively Southie” dog leash initiative. And they were happy with the turnout.

“Team Southie, a group of BCYF teens and advisors from the Tynan, Condon, and Curley Centers,” said Barbara Kelly, “would like to thank the local business for their generosity, South Boston Online, Robert Pacitti, the entire community…for supporting the youth venture entrepreneurship and South Boston Bowlarama.

“The Dog Bowl was a great success,” she added. “Please watch for the teens who will be selling the “Pawsitively Southie” dog leashes along Broadway and during the Saint Patrick’s Day parade. If you want to order a leash, please stop by or call one of the community centers. We appreciate your support.”
