Tim Smyth of South Boston, a sophomore member of the Boston College High School’s Concert Choir, will perform with the choir at the St. Patrick’s Day Breakfast on Sunday, March 20 at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center.
Dr. Marina Rozenberg, the choir director, is very pleased to have been invited back again this year. The world traveled choir recently gave a Christmas performance at the White House.
“Singing Christmas music,” said Dr. Rozenberg, “is common during the holidays, but for the 25 Boston College High School Concert Choir members who sang in the White House on Monday, Dec. 21, 2015, the experience was anything but ordinary!“
Each year, the White House invites select choirs from across the country to perform during the holiday season. This will mark the second time the BC High Concert Choir has performed at the White House. The first was in December 2006.
