This team is in the Gate of Heaven CYO midget hoop house league. The kids are young and learning the game. They are coached by Edward Flynn. The players are Jared Firth, Dylan Picard, Stephen Flynn, Andrew Donovan, Coulter Medeiros, Jaylen, Mullen Burn, Owen Donovan, Ben Fennelly, and Joseph Keating.
“These players work well together,” Flynn said. “And they are great kids. Basketball can teach many lessons in life: hard-work, teamwork, discipline and to have fun. These basketball players and all the players in the Gatey CYO program are a credit to their families – and their parents are proud of them too.”
Coach Flynn wants to inform everyone that the Knights of Columbus (Pere Marquette Council) will soon host its annual free throw contest. Details to be announced.
