It has been a very busy and fun filled year in preschool at South Boston Catholic Academy. Children have been listening to stories and working in centers designed around the Opening the World of Learning curriculum. This past week, children experimented with media to create beautiful winter paintings, explored role play and community services in our class grocery store, created Christmas wreaths, and worked together to investigate simple machines and build roads, based on a class favorite book, ‘Road Builders.’ We are looking forward to a New Year filled with hands on learning, exploration, and discovery!
