Observing Memorial Day
By KEVIN DEVLIN On Monday, May 30, Americans will celebrate Memorial Day. Unfortunately, traditional observance of this day has greatly diminished over the years. But it must be remembered, not just as a time to relax and cook a couple of steaks on the barbecue, but as a time to reflect upon those who sacrificed their lives throughout history. It must be remembered as a time to honor those who served their country, so that we could continue to enjoy our freedom and democratic way of life. It must be remembered, as stated by President George W.
